NCFC Players of the Week #3

Beau Blau, the quarterback for Laney College, has been named the Offensive National Player of the Week #3 after his outstanding performance in a 35-10 victory over the Shasta College Knights. Blau was nearly flawless in the air, completing 15 of 21 passes for 4 touchdowns. In addition to his impressive passing stats, Blau also showcased his versatility by rushing for 63 yards on 12 carries. His leadership and playmaking ability were instrumental in securing the win for Laney College.

On the defensive side of the ball, Joshua Shanklin of Foothill College has been named the Defensive National Player of the Week #3. Shanklin was a force to be reckoned with in Foothill's thrilling 26-23 overtime victory over Reedley College. He tallied an impressive 3 sacks, 4 tackles for loss, 8 tackles, and a pass breakup. Shanklin's disruptive presence on the field helped stifle Reedley's offense and ultimately led his team to victory.

In the American division, Houstyn Lee-Perry of Gavilan College has been named the Offensive Player of the Week #3. Lee-Perry put on a show in Gavilan's 27-20 win over the Yuba College 49ers, rushing for an impressive 167 yards on 30 carries and scoring 2 touchdowns. His ability to find running lanes and break tackles made him a nightmare for the opposing defense and played a key role in Gavilan's victory.

On the defensive side, William Baldwin of Los Medanos College has been named the Defensive American Player of the Week #3. Baldwin was a standout performer in Los Medanos' 27-24 win over Merced College, recording 10 tackles, 2 sacks, and a forced fumble. His tenacity and playmaking ability were crucial in securing the victory for the Mustangs.
